ADES PROGRAMS
Miss Africa
And
Scholarship Program:
- ADES believes in education and the importance of promoting young
Africans and those of African descent who are pursuing their studies. This program will solicit funds to finance, through
scholarships, the education of youth Africans. ADES will organize each year a great festival of beauty, education and
culture, gathering African women and its Diaspora to crown the Queen of
Africa.
Awards Program:
- ADES will organize each year a celebration called Excellence Awards to
honor and encourage all those who contribute to the development of
Africa and the Caribbean and help to improve the life in the larger
African community.
Village Development
project in Africa:
- In order to experience successful village community development, ADES
a not for profit organization with the mission to rebuild new
infrastructures capable to support the demands from a growing population
in a rural setting.
Public Health
& HIV/AIDS Program:
- ADES will educate African youth and youth of the African Diaspora
about HIV/AIDS prevention though various actions.
African Day Parade:
will prove to be one of the most diverse African cultural events to take
place in New York City. The Parade brings together performing
groups representing Central, North, South, East, and West Africa.
The breadth of the work begins with a March pageant, which includes
African dancing costumes, music, drums, folklore, etc. and culminates
with the Fair on 116th St, Harlem featuring, staged musical
performances, fashion, design art, folklore dance, and live bands…
Magazine:
- ADES, through its magazine, will carry Africa to the external world so
that it will be known and appreciated better.
